Colonial Flat Iron Hunt Club Inc.
Originally founded in 1970, and located in Red House, VA (Charlotte County), the Colonial Flat Iron Hunt Club (CFIHC) continues to provide individuals and families with a unique hunting experience. With over 3500 acres of leased land, and terrain ranging from creek bottoms to rolling hills, there is no lack of hunting opportunities to fill your tags. Well-marked trails will allow you to access over 100 permanent tree stands, either by ATV or vehicle. In some cases, you can walk to several stands from the main club-house.
As a member, you will have the opportunity to harvest most of the wild game that Virginia offers in a NON-DOG, FAIR CHASE setting. After the hunt, you can dress your game at our “game stand” and store your harvest in the conveniently located cooler. Other facilities located on the property include a 100-yard shooting range, a club house and cook shack, 40 permanent trailer spots (waiting list applies), and several temporary trailer spots (on a first come basis, restrictions apply).
If you are a guest you may click on any of the visible links (other than member only pages) without using a password for more information about the club: including CONTACT US, DIRECTIONS, DUES and FEES, HOW TO JOIN, RULES. Additionally, you may attend a Club Meeting, or one of our work parties (usually April or September) to gain a better perspective on the Club.
Please contact Mike Salyer our Membership Director at (757) 871-1801 to inquire about meetings, work parties, or for general questions.
